I apologize for not updating in awhile again- I got sidetracked, and lost track of time. Additionally.. I just didn't feel like drawing pages for a long time. I don't know why that was- I just lost all desire to do so. D:. Sorry about that. However, I DO have an announcement, though. As I know I take forever to tone/color pages, I thought I'd let you guys see the unfinished pages. These will be inked, cleaned up, and lettered- but not toned. They'll look exactly as they would before I toned it. Unfortunately, these will also bear a really fugly watermark. >_<;. However, it will allow you guys to see the story ahead of time. :). I have one page that's scanned now that's inked, and one in the process of being toned. Unfortunately, the one that's being toned is the one that comes before the inked one, so I can't post the inks. Yet. As soon as I finished the toned page, I'll post it, and post the next one two weeks later. And so on, and so forth. These pages will eventually be toned, but I thought I'd allow the story to move slightly faster. The Hogwarts Express scenes are getting pretty old, and fast. And my art's getting ancient. XD. I can't stand to look at the first few pages. >_<;. I MAY redo them someday. MAYBE. But for now, I hope you guys can deal with ancient artwork. D:.

Anyway.. I hope to have the next page finished soon. I'm nearly done with toning it now. :). If I'm lucky, I'll have it finished by next week. :). See you then!

Sorry about the missed update (again). D:. I completely forgot to work on it all week. I guess I'm still tired from final's week. :(.

Anyway.. I hope to have the next page done by next week- as I said in the last post, it's nearly finished (lettered, too), and almost ready to post. I just need to put the finishing touches on it. There's even a slight chance I'll finish it tomorrow or Saturday, if I work hard enough. :D. Anyway.. look forward to it then. :). I hope to see you all again really soon. :D.

Chance of an update this week, but..

I nearly am finished with the next page (As I said, tones are a lot faster), but due to finals, there's a small chance I won't be updating this week. If I won't have the page done, I'll post a doodle I drew as a filler. XD. At least it'll be something. The odds are highly against it, but as the possibility exists, I thought I should let you all know.
Current progress:
-Inks, pencils, and character 'tones' have been placed. I'm working on lettering, and backgrounds right now.

I'll let you know the final verdict by the end of the week. :).

New page up next week

I've finished the CG and backgrounds for the next page, which means that all I have left to do is letter it. As I'm on the last step, I'll have the next page up on Friday of next week. I'm starting to clean up the lineart for the following page, which will be, as stated earlier, in greyscale.

A quick status update

Unfortunately, not an actual update for the comic. D:. Just some in general news regarding it.
I plan on working on that a bit more over the weekend. Hopefully, I'll get somewhere. :D. I didn't have all that much left, so I'm crossing my fingers for an update by the end of the month. At the very, very latest, I'll have it done by June. That is the LAST thing that I want to do, though, so I'm aiming for earlier than later.

Second bit of news:
The next page will be the last one in full color. D:. It's far too time consuming, and by the time I finish the comic using color, no one will want to read it anymore. To actually get somewhere in the plot within the next few years, I plan on using black and white screentones to shade the comic. This way, I'll be able to update the comic at a faster pace, and the story will get the opportunity to pick up. The beginning of every Harry Potter novel was a bit slow, and unfortunately, this won't be any better. I have to set everything up, after all. With faster updates, I can get to Hogwarts faster, and the plot will pick up. And I'll finally get to draw someone other than Albus, Rose, and Iruel. XD. Though Iruel isn't going anywhere. :3. And I'll eventually get to that Peeves chapter I've been wanting to draw. Though that's a long way off yet- probably past volume one. D:. The thought of drawing 100+ pages is very daunting.. .__.;. But I'll get through it. :D.

D:. I REALLY hate school. Due to excessive amounts of essays/homework, I haven't had any time for artwork. D:. And with Anime Central just around the corner, what little free time I have is eaten up with last minute cosplay touch-ups. (If you're going to ACEN, come say hi. XD. I'm cosplaying Lemina Ausa from Lunar 2: Eternal Blue on Friday, and Anju Maaka from Karin in Saturday. :3. And in case there's a second Lemina or Anju, I'm really tall. XD.)
Anyway, back to the comic..
I do have the art cleaned up, and before school ate my life, I was CGing it. D:. If I had to give a number, I'd say the comic is 40% done. I'll try to finish it this month. When summer starts, I'm working on as many pages as I can. With school in the way, I'd take years to finish if I don't hurry. D:. Anyway.. see you soon!

I'm really starting to hate school again. >_<;. Unfortunately, I couldn't make my (self given, thankfully) April 14th deadline due to limited time during the weekdays due to school. D:. I have worked on the comic since the last update, though. :D. I have finished the flat colors, began shading the characters (I have Rose done in one panel, as she's the easiest for me to color, and I believe that I had started coloring Albus's jacket, too.). In addition to that, I have started to work on the backgrounds a bit. :). I plan on trying to get a bit more done tomorrow night, and perhaps some on Sunday night, too. (Tomorrow night's far more likely, however.)
I won't be done, but it'll be something. :D. I'm aiming for a new release date of either next Friday, or the last week of April. *crosses fingers*

Like with the Golden Trio, someone's gotta be the voice of reason. And who better than to take Hermione's role than Hermione's daughter? XD. Though I have to find some way to make her a bit like Ron. XD. I think that she won't tolerate rudeness, but that she's a lot more tolerant of mischief. Anyway.. I've finished the lineart for the next page, and am working on cleaning it up right now. :). No status updates for two months.. sorry about that. This semester at school's been rather hellish. :(. Not in terms of essays or anything like that, but in terms of reading. One class wants at least 50 pages of readings within two days.. and another wants the same. One class wants a novel within five days. And sans one, they're not short. >_<;. Only ONE class is sane. :(. It sucks. >_<;. Now that I've vented a bit.. I HAVE been working on the comic. It's just been a bit slowly. ^^;. I try to draw something on days when I don't have school. Whether it be a doodle, or a drawing- right now, it's just doodles, though. ^^;. HOWEVER.. I am nearly finished with the next page. The characters are all colored, and I'm currently working on the background. I'm aiming for it to come out next Sunday. :). But we'll have to see about that, unfortunately. :( I also have the pencils finished for the next page, and have the next two pages sketched out. I'm not certain when those will be released, but hey, they're there. That should count for something, right? XD. And.. just to prove it, here's the finished version (minus background texture) of Rose.















Al and Rose appear for this page again. XD. But.. that's all I'll say about that. You'll just have to wait for the actual page to see what happens.

Oh.. and I'm highly contemplating redoing the really early pages. As I don't have any other comics, I should be able to do so. However, I'm a bit afraid that it'd take time away from the new pages, so I'll probably hold off on it for awhile. Even though the art is terrible by my current standards.. :(. Ugh.

Anyway.. hopefully, I'll see you all again Sunday! ^_^
